Hello and welcome to day 5 of this week’s Sale-A-Bration countdown! As promised, today’s card is something completely different using the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper! This super cute card is actually from Dawn Griffith and you can watch her video here. She does a great job in explaining how to make this card, so I will let you get the details and cuts from there. However, I will explain how I made my CASE’d version!

I will have to admit that when making this card you need 12” x 12” cardstock and any of my cardstock is old, I mean old, but it still works! Just means I need to update that supply! Lol

I used Basic Gray as a base layer, Bubbles & Fizz for my choice of DSP, and Party Pandas stamp set because I made this card for a special young lady that turned 18.

For the front, I stamped the panda holding the balloon in Memento Ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out. I then cut four balloons using the Balloon Bouquet Punch in Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral, and Bermuda Bay cardstock. I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to stamp each letter in her name in Versamark ink and then heat embossed in Silver Embossing Powder. I tied Black Metallic Thread around the balloon end and then adhered together at the panda’s paw with the silver foil heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes. I popped two of the balloons up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the front inside layer, I stamped the panda with the party hat on in Memento ink, coloring in the hat with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, and Bermuda Bay Stampin Write Markers. The same color markers where used to color the confetti stamp that is around the panda.

For the back inside layer, I stamped the panda holding the letter in Memento ink, coloring the heart with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker. The sentiment is from the Party Panda set and is stamped in Calypso Coral ink.

I used a piece of Basic Gray Shimmer Ribbon to tie the card closed.
