Hello Friend!

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is featuring products from the Tutti-Frutti Suite! Sadly, all these products are on the retirement list, however, as I am writing this they are all still currently available! If you are looking for fun, bright, and peppy products, then I highly suggest you check them out by heading to my online store!

When I sat down to create this card, I chose this particular piece from the Tutti-Frutti 6” x 6” DSP Paper Stack because it was a 3” x 6” scrap piece! Yesterday I discussed how to cut and utilized every piece from a piece of 6” x 6” DSP and I was determined to use this piece today! So, another way to cut at 6” x 6” piece of DSP is to cut it in half so you have two 3” x 6” pieces and then cut 2” off that piece, so you will end up with two pieces cut at 3” x 4” and two pieces cut at 3” x 2”:

The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”:

The base layer is Lemon Lime Twist cardstock cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

The Burlap Background stamp is used in Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp on the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock at an angle:

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2 ¾” x 1 ¾”, from the Fruit Basket stamp set, stamp the wire basket image in Sahara Sand ink, the strawberry image in Real Red ink, and the strawberry leaves image in Lemon Lime Twist ink. On a ½” piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the hello and friend stamps in Night of Navy ink and then punch the end with the Banner Triple Punch:

To put this card together, adhere the 3” x 4” piece of DSP to the base layer, adhere the Whisper White cardstock stamped piece to the 2” x 3” piece of DSP, and then adhere this to card base:

The front sentiment is adhered with dimensionals and I added some Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Lemon Lime Twist:

This is then adhered to the card base:

The inside sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink, with the strawberry in Real Red ink and the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist ink:

This is such a cute and bright card to send birthday wishes with! So, if you cut a piece of 6” x 6” DSP in half (3” x 6”) and then cut 2” off those two pieces, you will be able to make two cards out of one 6” x 6” sheet! Be sure to join me tomorrow for another way to use up that DSP Paper Stack!

I hope today’s card inspires you to get creative! Please contact me if you have any questions about the products used on this or any other project. I hope you enjoyed today’s blog and thanks for stopping by!
