Happiest Christmas Wishes

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a beautiful Christmas card featuring the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper, In the Woods Thinlits Dies, and Dashing Deer Thinlits Dies! If you haven’t notices, but the Holiday Catalog is a huge hit and the Designer Series Paper is going fast! Luckily, Stampin’ Up! brought back the Dashing Along DSP (this was originally only available in September with a qualifying order), which instead of having the normal 12 sheets with 2 each of 6 double-sided designs, you get 12 sheets with 4 each of 3 double-sided designs! Having 4 sheets of the double-sided design means you can stretch out that paper for card making! For today’s card I am using one sheet of the double-sided design, so let’s get started!

The card base is Cherry Cobbler cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

The base layer of DSP is cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

The next layer of DSP (which is the other side design of the base layer) is but at 3” x 4 ¼”:

For the front of the card, you will need one each of the smaller deer thinlits from Detailed Deer cut out of Silver Foil Sheet, six each of the outline flower thinlit from Detailed Deer cut out of Silver Glimmer Paper, and one piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 1 ¼” x 4 ¼” and use the hill thinlit from in the Woods:

To create the hills, adhere one of the pieces to the DSP and then flip the other over and use dimensionals to adhere over the other layer. The deer on the left is adhered with to the top layer (apply adhesive to the lower half) and then adhere the deer on the right with Mini Dimensionals:

The base layer is adhered to the card base and then the scenery is adhered on top of the base layer. The six flowers are actually going to be snowflakes, the three on the scenery are adhered with Glue Dots and the three on the base layer are adhered with Mini Dimensionals:

The inside sentiment is from the Dashing Deer stamp set in Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler inks, on a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White cardstock. I used my Stamparatus to position the top floral stamp, which I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color, and then turned the cardstock so the bottom was now the top, colored the stamp again, and then stamped the image. The sentiment is positioned below the floral stamp design:

This card is really easy to make multiples of when you use your Stamparatus for the inside sentiment, you can use two sheets of the DSP (and still have two more of the design left!), and there are three of the flower thinlits that are used to create snowflakes! With the busy holiday season, having a great card that you can make multiples of in a snap is a time saver!!
