Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a Fall themed card featuring the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder, punch art with the Double Oval Punch, and various dies! Since I still have a couple more Halloween cards to make, I thought I would change things up and create a fall themed card that can be used for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or even for a birthday. Let me first talk about the Leaf Fall 3D EF before we dive into making today’s card because whether you are thinking about this embossing folder or haven’t quite committed, I love it! I used both sides of the embossing folder (embossed and debossed) and both are just lovely! I really like that the embossing folder is not an “all over” design, which allows you to position your cardstock for as much of the embossed image you want, just as I did with embossing the cardstock for the base layer of the card front. So, if you are looking for something simple to add to your Fall, Halloween, and/or Thanksgiving cards and crafts, give the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder another look!
For the card front base layer, cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, spritz the cardstock lightly with water, and position the cardstock to the right side (which gives you the open space at the bottom), and use the debossed side for the card front:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. From Pumpkin Pie cardstock, use the smaller oval from the Double Oval Punch to punch out three ovals, spritz with water, emboss with the Timber 3D EF, and use a sponge dauber with Pumpkin Pie ink to ink around the edges.
2. Use three of the small sprig dies from Forever Flourishing Dies to die-cut two from Mossy Meadow cardstock and one from the gold Brushed Metallic cardstock.
3. On Early Espresso cardstock, heat emboss the sentiment from Christmas to Remember with gold embossing powder and use the coordinating Seasonal Labels Die to die-cut out. To make the pumpkin “stem”, I used a positive leftover piece from the slanted detail die from the Lighthouse Dies.
4. You will need one 3mm and two 4mm Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels, not pictured.

I first assembled the “pumpkin” by using liquid glue to adhere the top oval punched cardstock on top of the two bottom oval punched cardstock pieces and adhered the stem and leaves on the backside of the pumpkin. The pumpkin is adhered to the unbossed corner of the base layer, the sentiment is adhered with mini dimensionals, place the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown, and adhere the base layer to an Early Espresso cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, position the cardstock in the Leaf Fall 3D EF to partially emboss the cardstock and stamp the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink:

For the coordinating Very Vanilla Medium Envelope, I embossed the flap with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder:

Isn’t this a great Fall themed card created with products you more than likely have on hand? I love the added touch of the Leaf Fall 3D EF, the debossed side for the card front and the embossed side for the envelope flap! I really wanted to use the Rustic Pumpkin Dies to create a Halloween card, however, I had to wait until it became available last week to order it, so I decided to improvise while I am waiting!!
