Congratulations card from the Noble Peacock Suite

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a fun alternative card made with products from the Noble Peacock Suite! But wait, where’s the peacock?? Don’t worry, those cards will be coming soon, however I thought this card is a fun way to feature the Noble Peacock Specialty DSP! I just love how Terracotta Tile stands out against the Old Olive Foil DSP.

The base layer is this design from the DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

For the rest of the card front, you will stamp the sentiment in Old Olive ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with the third largest stitched circle framelit, use the largest Stitched Labels die to cut out of Terracotta Tile cardstock, two of the leaf dies in Crumb Cake Cardstock (two of the dies are the same and one is slightly different), the other leaf die in Old Olive cardstock, two pieces of Braided Linen Trim cut at 7”, and a piece of Scalloped Lace Trim cut at 15”:

I used some snail to help adhere the lace trim to the base layer, making a “Z”:

I used a little more snail to adhere the linen trim going diagonally across the base layer, placing it where the sentiment will cover:

The leaves (or maybe they are sprigs?) are adhered behind the sentiment piece and then adhered to the base layer with dimensionals. This completed piece is then adhered to a Crumb Cake cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

The inside is a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, the sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink, and the flowers are stamped in Terracotta Tile ink:

Isn’t this a gorgeous card?? There’s nothing like making an over-the-top card congratulating someone!! While this suite was #2 on my “must have” list (Sailing Home was #1) and even if this really doesn’t appeal to you, you should definitely check out the Specialty DSP because it’s just stunning! You can definitely use this for a variety of card making!!
