Hello and welcome to today’s card, featuring the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper! Recently I shared this stunning paper on my business Facebook page, so this week I am going to share with you a few cards that I’ve created using this paper! This is a quick and easy card, which comes in handy when you are limited on time. You can also make a few of these to have on hand and use any sentiment!
The card base is Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is Petal Pink cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and is embossed with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder:
For this sheet of the DSP, I trimmed the pieces down and chose the pink roses. I then used the Detailed Trio Punch to round the corners:
The sentiment is from the Animal Outing stamp set, which I heat embossed in Copper Embossing Powder:
Using the 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White, wrap around the Petal Pink cardstock and tie into a bow. I placed a Mini Glue Dot behind the bow to secure to the cardstock:
The DSP is then adhered on the left side with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
The card base is then adhered to the card base with more Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added some Pearl Basic Jewels to the middle of the roses:
The inside sentiment is on Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”. I used the Make a Difference stamp set for the letters in Mossy Meadow ink and the flower I used the Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Markers:
This is the first time I have used the Make a Difference stamp set, which wasn’t too terribly hard! I did use clear blocks to stamp instead of my Stamparatus, so I do suggest that you purchase extra “A” and “G” Clear Blocks if you haven’t already. This just makes it easier to have all your letters on the block before you start stamping, instead of cleaning and removing each one. You can also place a letter on each side of the block (in the corner or end), so you can have two letters on one block! I definitely will be experimenting with this set and my Stamparatus! The benefit of the Make a Difference stamp set is that you can create your own saying, such as I did for the inside of this card, and you can personalize it with the recipient’s name!
