Party Pandas

Hello and welcome to part 3 of this week’s Sale-A-Bration spotlight on stamp sets! Today I will be featuring the Party Pandas stamp set, some punch art, and the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes. I chose one of the cards from this set because I thought it would go great with the idea I had in my head to make this card, but to also show you that the cards and envelopes are another free product that you can earn with Sale-A-Bration!

To make this card, I chose the Lemon Lime striped card and it’s already cut and scored for you! : ) Now, the rest is easy!

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the panda with the party hat and the panda holding the balloon in Basic Black ink, except for the balloon, which you can either mask the stamp with some tape or wipe off, and then cut out. I used Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the party hat on the panda.

To make the leaf background, I used the Leaf Punch and punched out 10 in Garden Green cardstock and 9 in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. These are assembled and adhered to each to a piece of Vellum cardstock cut ½” wide with Mini Glue Dots. I had one of each color left over, so I adhered those at the bottom in-between the two strips.

The pandas were placed and adhered to make it look like they are hanging or coming out of the leaves.

The sentiment from this set is stamped on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that is a ½” wide, in Lemon Lime Twist ink and then trimmed and the end is punched with the Triple Banner Punch. This is placed on the panda with the party hat to make it look like he is holding the banner as he is coming out of the leaves.

For some added effect, I used the clear circle and teardrop shapes, from the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes, on the leaves.

The inside of these cards are white and blank, so no need to cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to stamp your sentiment. What do you think of this card? Do you have this stamp set? If so, what have you created?

Please contact me if you have any questions about the products used on this or any other project. I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for stopping by!
