Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is part four of the Myths & Magic Suite! Not only are the stamps and coordinating framelits fun to create with, but the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper has iridescent glitter designs on one side and all-occasions designs on the other, so I wanted to create a card showing how to make Specialty DSP work for you!
The card base is Island Indigo cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is the iridescent unicorn DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
The sentiment is stamped on Whisper White cardstock, first in Pool Party ink, and then sponged Island Indigo ink with a Sponge Dauber. This is then cut out with the 3rdlargest circle from the Layering Circle Framelits and then I used the 2ndlargest scalloped circle to cut the glimmer paper:
The unicorn stamp is stamped in Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock, then colored in with a Blender Pen with Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, and Gray Granite inks, the horn is colored in with Light Pineapple Punch Stampin’ Blends, and then cut out with the coordinating thinlit:
I added Wink of Stella all over for more sparkle:
To finish creating this card, the base layer is adhered to the card base:
The Whisper White circle is adhered to the glimmer scalloped circle with liquid glue and the unicorn is adhered with dimensionals:
This layer is adhered to the base layer with dimensionals:
I added some Enamel Shapes in Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Island Indigo:
The inside sentiment is on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, from the Special Celebrations stamp set in Island Indigo ink. The unicorn is stamped and colored exactly the same as the front of the card and then I used the smallest star image from the stamp set in Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Island Indigo inks:
