Sending love with Garden Wishes

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which features products from the new 2021 January-June Mini Catalog! First, can you believe it’s finally 2021?? It felt like 2020 was the year that would never end, lol! Now, are you excited as I am that the 2021 JJ and the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Catalogs are finally live?? I did purchase a few items last month, but I placed my first big order Tuesday and Thursday cannot come fast enough! Yes, I already have another order started (to be completed at a later time) and I did expedite my order, which if I didn’t, it would take an additional week after shipping to arrive. Now that the holidays are behind us, I cannot wait for all the new and awesome products to arrive! So, for now, I’m going to share with you a quick and easy card featuring a few products from the Dandy Garden Suite!

The base layer is Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (I used the debossed side):

For the card front, you will need:

1. Use this design from the Dandy Garden 6” x 6” DSP, cut at 2” x 5 ¼”.

2. Enough of the Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim to tie into a small bow.

3. Cut a 2 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, stamp the image from Garden Wishes stamp set in Versamark ink, heat set in White Embossing Powder, use a Blending Brush with Sahara Sand ink around the heat embossed image, and use the corner rounder side of the Detailed Trio Punch on two opposite corners.

Use liquid glue to adhere the 2”x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to the embossed cardstock, dimensionals to adhere the heat embossed cardstock over the DSP and embossed cardstock base layer, and a glue dot to adhere the braided trim bow:

This completed piece is adhered to a Mossy Meadow cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”and scored at 5 ½”, with liquid glue:

For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼” (or Whisper White if you still have it), stamp the dandelion puff, bee, and dotted line stamps in Memento ink, color in the bee lightly with a Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends, and use a Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker to ink the sentiment from Garden Wishes, omitting the “true”:

Such a fun and easy card to make! So, you may be wondering why I omitted the “true”? Well, we all have friends that are close and some that we may not be as close to, but I wanted to show you how you can easily make this sentiment for any friend in your life to let them know you are thinking of them! If you haven’t checked out the Dandy Garden Suite, this “mega suite” has stamps, dies, a punch, paper, and lots of embellishments! I just love the super cut Ladybug Trinkets, who doesn’t love dragonfly’s and ladybug’s??
