Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is another quick and easy masculine themed birthday card featuring the So Much Happy stamp set! Sometimes I get so caught up with designer series paper, that I forget it is so quick and easy to create my own with simply masking and sponging colors! Using ombre colors is also a fun way to sponge color, so I used Pretty Peacock, Just Jade, and Pool Party colors for this fun masculine themed card!
The base layer is Whisper White cardstock cut at 4” x 5 ¼” and I used my grid paper to help line up the craft masking tape at 2” and 3 ½” from the bottom:

I first used a Stampin’ Sponge with Pool Party ink, then Just Jade ink, and then Pretty Peacock ink. I went back over with Pool Party ink along the (side) edges and to fill any spots that were light and then I removed the masking tape. Tip-DO NOT use painters’ tape or masking tape, they will tear your cardstock. You can either use a post it note or purple craft tape (google it and you will find it):
I stamped the large balloon in Just Jade ink, the small striped balloon in Pretty Peacock ink, and the star in Pool Party ink:

For the splatter, I used my Just Jade Stampin’ Write Marker and flicked the end of the marker using the marker cap onto the cardstock:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. Use about a 16” piece of Braided Linen Trim.
2. Use the largest oval Stitched Shapes Die to cut out of Pretty Peacock cardstock, this will be the bottom layer.
3. Use the fourth largest Layering Ovals Die to cut out of a Champagne Foil Sheet, this will be the middle layer.
4. Stamp the sentiments in Versamark ink and heat emboss in White Embossing Powder. Use the fifth largest Layering Ovals Die (next size down from the foil sheet) to cut out the sentiment, this will be the top layer.

Apply some Stampin’ Seal or Seal+ to the middle of base layer and place the Braided Linen Trim as shown:

The layered sentiment is adhered over the trim with dimensionals, I placed the dimensionals on the base layer first:

This completed piece is adhered to a Pretty Peacock cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink, the large balloon in Just Jade ink, and the star in Pool Party ink:

Is this a quick and easy card to make?? It just goes to show you how a few simple supplies can make a beautiful card! If you wanted to make this card even easier, skip the oval dies and braided trim, stamp the sentiment words along or in the bottom corner of the cardstock.
