Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a quick and easy card featuring the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP, Inspired Thoughts stamp set, and the Vellum Layering Designs! This is the second part of my series showing you how I made seven cards from five sheets of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP! You will be using leftover DSP (from the previous post) to make three more cards (same layout but different DSP designs) with just one stamp set and one ink pad!
The base layer for the card front is this design from the Vellum Layering Designs in white print, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. One of the 2” x 5 ¼” designs.
2. The ¾” x 6” opposite design from above and use the Banners Pick a Punch to flag punch both ends.
3. Stamp the sentiment from Inspired Thoughts in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White cardstock and this is die-cut out with the die from Tasteful Labels Dies.
4. Use enough of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon to tie into a bow.
5. Three of the 3mm Basic Rhinestone Jewels, not pictured.

I first adhered the 2” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP across the vellum base layer and then adhered the ¾” strip of DSP across the middle of the 2” DSP. This is then adhered to a Misty Moonlight cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, adhere the Metallic Mesh Ribbon bow with a glue dot, and place the rhinestones as shown:
For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼” and stamp the sentiment from Inspired Thoughts in Misty Moonlight ink:

For the coordinating envelope, I used the confetti stamp from Hey Birthday Chick to stamp in Misty Moonlight ink in the corner:

Here are the other two cards, just changing the DSP used on each card. Now, for one I only punched one end of the DSP and cut off the excess. This was my first card, but I didn’t really care for that and decided to punch each end of the ¾” strip of DSP, which will still fit in an envelope with the little bit hanging out past the cardstock:
So quick, so easy, and so fun! You can easily use any birthday sentiment stamp set you have, but I thought I would use one that I haven’t used in a while! Now you have six more cards for your birthday stash! Stay tuned for the next (and final) blog post which will show you how I used the last little bit of this fun DSP!!
