Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a sweet any occasion card featuring the Sending Smiles Bundle and the Heart & Home 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper! Can you believe that tomorrow is the last day of the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog?? Even though the Heart & Home DSP will be retiring, we can still have a little creative fun! Today’s card will use both sides of one of the designs from the Heart & Home DSP, a little die-cutting, a little heat embossing, and some additional embellishments for this super sweet card, showing you how I paired the DSP with a completely different stamp set and coordinating dies!
For the card front base layer, I chose this design from the Heart & Home DSP, which I first cut into three 4” x 12” sheets. For the first two sheets, I cut them in half at 6” and then cut ¾” off the bottom for four pieces measuring 4” x 5 ¼” (the base layer) and four ¾” x 4” strips for the inside of the card:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. For the remaining 4” x 12” sheet, using the opposite side design, I cut at 2 ¾” along the 12” side, which will give you four 2 ¾” x 4” pieces and have a 1” x 4” strip, which will not be used.
2. I heat embossed the sentiment in White Embossing Powder on Soft Succulent cardstock and used the coordinating die to die-cut out.
3. Use the second from the largest circle Stylish Shape Die to die-cut from Basic White cardstock. I first stamped the flowers in Fresh Freesia ink, the centers in Pale Papaya ink, and the stems in Soft Succulent ink, I used the die for the small flower on left to die-cut from Masking Paper to mask the flower when stamping the stem for the center flower, used the small leaf stamp to fill-in using Soft Succulent ink, and used my Wink of Stella pen on the flower petals.
4. Use enough of the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon to tie into a bow, I left the tails a little long so that I could cut them down to the length I wanted after adhered to the card front.
5. Use the second from the largest Layering Circle Die to die-cut from Vellum cardstock, this will be layered under the Basic White die-cut circle.
6. You will need three 3mm Iridescent Pearls, not pictured.

I first adhered the 2 ¾” x 4” opposite side design DSP to the middle of the DSP base layer, adhered the layered die-cut circles in the upper left-hand corner, used dimensionals to adhere the die-cut sentiment, and a glue dot to adhere the ribbon bow, trimming the excess off. I adhered the DSP base layer to a Soft Succulent cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”, and then placed the Iridescent Pearls in the bottom right corner of DSP:
For the inside of the card, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment of your choice in Fresh Freesia and adhere the ¾” x 4” strip of DSP along the bottom:

For the coordinating Basic White Medium Envelope, I stamped the flower in Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent inks:

This is such a sweet and easy card to make! I really like the added touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers and the Iridescent Pearls!
