Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a fun card to send to the wine lover in your life! With Fall just a few short weeks away (WHAT??), the makes me think of sitting by the firepit with a nice drink in hand and enjoying time with friends! This card does require a little bit of fussy cutting, but even if you are not the greatest, the wine bottle and glass are super easy to cut out.
To make this card, first start with a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is Designer Series Paper from the Nature’s Poem DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
The pieces you will need for the card front are:
2 ½ x 3 ½ Mossy Meadow cardstock, embossed with the Pinewood Planks DTIEF
A piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the “stars” stamp from Bokeh Dots stamp set in So Saffron ink, and fussy cut out
3 ½” piece of Burlap Ribbon
Stamp the wine bottle and glass images on a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Memento Ink, color in with Dark Blackberry Bliss, Light Smoky Slate, Light Mango Melody, and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends, and then cut out
A piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut out with the bigger circle framelit from the Stitched Labels Framelits
Adhere the cardstock to the base layer DSP and then adhere the burlap ribbon across:
Adhere the wine bottle, glass, and stitched circle with dimensionals:
Adhere the base layer to the card base with dimensionals. I added 3 of the large Clear Faceted Gems for a little bling:
The inside sentiment is on a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White cardstock, stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, and I used So Saffron and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Markers to individually color the wine glasses:
Isn’t this super cute?? If you notice, the stitched circle looks like a serving tray!!
