Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a quick and easy card featuring the new Enjoy the Moment stamp set! This super sweet and super cute stamp set can be found in the upcoming 2021 January-June Mini Catalog, which goes live for customers on January 5th, 2021! I can’t even believe that I’m referencing 2021 already! I know, most of us are ready for the new year, but technically as I am writing this up, Christmas is still a few days away! As I started out with a sheet of the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP to share with you another opportunity to use up this beautiful DSP, this new stamp set popped into my mind to pair with the DSP! I’m really trying not to break out any new products from the upcoming mini catalog, but I just couldn’t help myself! This quick and easy card combines some favorites from both catalogs!
The base layer is this design from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
For the card front, you will need:
1. Two 6” pieces of the copper metallic ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon.
2. Cut a 2” x 5 ¼” piece of Sahara Sand cardstock, stamp the sweet gum tree pods in Early Espresso ink, and stamp the seeds stamp in Crumb Cake ink.
3. Stamp the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, die-cut out with the second smallest outline die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and place two of the 3mm Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown.
I adhered the strips of ribbon to the sides by using Tear & Tape, then snipping off the excess, placed another piece of the tape in the middle of the cardstock to adhere to the DSP base layer and adhered the die-cut sentiment with a dimensional:
This completed piece is adhered to a Merry Merlot cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Merry Merlot ink, stamp the seeds in Crumb Cake ink (first and second generation), and adhere the ¾” x 4” strip of DSP along the bottom:
I just love how well this new stamp set paired with the DSP!! This super cute stamp set is perfect for the gardener and/or nature’s beauty lover in your life!! Now, if you are asking yourself, “what are all of the names of these things??”, I completely understand! I don’t have a green thumb, therefore, after looking around, getting input, and googling, these are the name of the seed pods and pods I was able to figure out! Having names always helps me when I’m trying to describe what stamps I’m using!!
