Kindness Gate Fold Card

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a super easy Gate Fold card featuring the Abstract Impressions stamp set! I really wanted to create a card using Granny Apple Green, so I used a piece of DSP from the Brights 6” x 6” DSP and combined it with Highland Heather to create a bright and cheery card! I typically do not use a lot of purples in my card making, however, since this year’s color revamp, I really do like Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape! I really liked combining Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather to create a card outside of my normal colors.

To create this card, first start with a piece of Highland Heather cardstock cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”. Next, you will need to score at 2 1/8” from each end, along the 8 ½” side:

Using this piece of Granny Apple Green DSP from the Brights 6” x 6” DSP, cut two pieces at 2” x 5 ¼”:

The front flap is a piece of Whisper White cardstock, cut at 3 ½” x 4 ¾”. The flowers are stamped in Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss inks (stamping off once before stamping on the cardstock), the flower buds are in Petal Pink ink (the first stamp is stamped off and the second stamp is fully inked), and the leaves are first stamped in Granny Apple Green ink (stamp off first) and the smaller leaves are in Pear Pizzazz ink:

The sentiment is stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and the butterfly is stamped in Highland Heather and Petal Pink inks on Whisper White cardstock and then cut out using the 3rdlargest circle from the Layering Circles Framelits, which is layered on a piece of Highland Heather cardstock, cut out with the 2ndlargest scalloped circle framelit:

To put this card together, adhere the DSP panels to the front with adhesive, use a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to tie a bow around the Whisper White cardstock, and then adhere the layered circles with dimensionals:

I used some dimensionals on the left side of the Whisper White cardstock to adhere to the left panel of the card base:

The inside sentiment is on a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White cardstock, stamped in Highland Heather ink, and the flowers are stamped in Highland Heather and Blackberry Bliss inks (stamping off first):
