Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which continues with the Dandy Garden 6” x 6” DSP, but will now include the Garden Wishes Bundle! Just like the Dragonfly Garden Bundle, the Garden Wishes stamp set and coordinating Dandy Wishes Dies also coordinate with the Dandy Garden DSP! The Dandy Wishes Dies include dies that will die-cut three of the stamped images, but also have other dies for you use and coordinate with! Today’s card is a great way to see how some of the dies and DSP can be used to create a super cute card that is so easy to create!
The base layer is this design from the Dandy Garden DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”. I cut the whole sheet of 6” x 6” DSP into three pieces measuring 4” x 5 ¼”, 2” x 5 ¼”, and ¾” x 6”:
For the card front, you will need:
1. Using the second and third largest layering Stitched Rectangles Dies, die-cut Basic White cardstock to create a frame. Pictured below is how I used craft tape to keep the dies in place to die-cut out of the cardstock at one time.
2. Use the large dandelion type die to die-cut out of Basic White cardstock three times.
3. Place some adhesive sheet on the back of Old Olive cardstock and use both of the grass dies to die-cut out two of each.
4. Cut a piece of Fine Art Ribbon (amount is up to you), use a glue dot to adhere it in the middle when folded over, and use some of the gold metallic trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack to wrap around the ribbon 3-4 times, tie into a knot, and then tie into a bow.

For the frame, I used liquid glue to adhere the die-cut grass pieces as shown along the bottom, remove the adhesive backing from the die-cut grass, and use a small amount of liquid glue around the sides and top of the frame, leaving the small area in between the Old Olive cardstock die-cuts alone. This piece is then placed on the DSP base layer as shown:
I used a small amount of liquid glue to adhere the dandelions to the DSP base layer where the seed head meets the stem, trimmed off the excess stem the went past the bottom of the frame, and tucked the end under the frame where there was not adhesive applied in between the die-cut grass:
Place the three 4mm Matte Black Dots as shown and I used two glue dots to adhere the ribbon piece in the bottom corner of the frame. This completed piece is adhered to a Soft Suede cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede ink, the seed stamp in Bumblebee ink, and adhere the ¾” strip of DSP along the bottom, trimming off the excess:
Isn’t this a super cute and easy card to make? I just love how the dies can coordinate with some of the designs from the DSP! I especially like how the tips of the dandelions pop up off of the paper on their own, give the card some added dimension!
