Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a beautiful and quick card featuring the On the Horizon stamp set and the New Horizons DSP! The New Horizons DSP is beautiful painted designs of the outdoors, so it is easy to let the DSP “do the work for you” to make a quick card! Since this is a 6” x 6” sized DSP, you can easily cut one sheet in half to make two of these cards! Add a little ribbon, a punch to layer your sentiment, and a few embellishments, you will have a beautiful card that took very little time or effort to make! Shhh, never divulge your crafty secrets! Lol
The base layer for the card front is Evening Evergreen cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼” and embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The next layer is this design from the New Horizons DSP, which I trimmed a ½” from the top and the bottom and then cut in half at 3”. This will give you two pieces measuring 5” x 3”:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the sentiment from On the Horizon on a ½” x 3 ¼” strip of Basic White cardstock in Evening Evergreen ink. I used the squared side of Lovely Label Pick a Punch to punch each end.
2. Cut a ½” x 3 ½” piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock and use the squared side of the Lovely Label Pick a Punch to punch each end. This will be layered under the above sentiment strip.
3. Cut a 10” piece of the Fine Art Ribbon.
4. You will need one of each color Pebble Enamel Shapes, not pictured.

I adhered the 5” x 3” piece of DSP to the center of the embossed Evening Evergreen cardstock base layer and I used glue dots to adhere each layer of the Fine Art Ribbon, creating a faux bow. Mini dimensionals were used to adhere the layered sentiment over the ribbon, placed the three Pebble Enamel Shapes as shown, and this completed piece is adhered to a Thick Basic White cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Evening Evergreen cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, a piece of Basic White cardstock at 3 ¾” x 5” to layer on top of the Evening Evergreen cardstock, and stamp the sentiment and grass accent stamp in Evening Evergreen ink:

For the coordinating Medium Basic White envelope, I just stamped the grass accent stamp in the bottom corner in Evening Evergreen ink:

So easy, so beautiful! This design from the New Horizons DSP was just too pretty to add anything but a sentiment! Well, that and a couple of embellishments! I am so going to miss the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder! This is one of my “go to” embossing folders when I just want to add a little texture to my cardstock! This and the Fine Art Ribbon are both on the retirement list, so you only have while supplies last to get them!!
