Broadway Bound One Sheet Wonder-Part 2

Hello and welcome to today’s cards, which are another “one sheet wonder” from a 12” x 12” Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper! On Monday I shared one template that made 7 cards from a single sheet of DSP and today I am sharing another template that I was able to make 8 cards and 1 invitation! I chose this particular design of paper because I wanted to see what other colors that I could use to make these, aside from the coordinating Lemon Lime Twist and Lovely Lipstick.

Today’s template is courtesy of Elizabeth Jeanne Thatcher that I found on Pinterest! Below is the DSP and the template for cutting:

I wanted to make a template that I could easily refer back to and not try to remember where I found it at. Below is a picture of each card I made, inside and out, with a brief description:

The card base is Flirty Flamingo cardstock, 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

The base layer is the DSP cut at 4” x 5 ¼”

I used the Celebrate Thinlit Die to cut out once on Champagne Foil and twice on Whisper White Cardstock, glued layers together, and then adhered with mini dimensionals

The balloons are cut out of Champagne Foil, Petal Pink, and Gorgeous Grape cardstock with the Balloon Banquet Punch. I used the Softly Falling and Seaside TIEF to emboss the balloons, tied Whisper White Baker’s Twine, and adhered with dimensionals

The inside sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink inks

This is an invitation, the base is Blueberry Bushel cardstock, 4 ¼” x 5 ¾”

I used the bottom of the 4” x 5 ¼” diagonal cut to create a pocket (carefully use liquid glue to create a thin line around the sides and bottom)

The “invitation” is on a 3 ½” x 4 ¾” piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink with the Balloon Celebrations and Pick a Pennant stamp sets

I punched out two of the larger balloons in Gold Foil with the Balloon Banquet Punch, heat embossed in Black Embossing Powder on one balloon “Birthday” and “Party” from the Tabs for Everything Stamp set, and then then adhered the balloons to the cardstock to create a tab pull for the cardstock

The front sentiment is using the Pick a Pennant stamp set, the Playful Pennants Framelits Dies, and heat embossed Gold Embossing Powder

I used Gold Metallic Pearls for accents

The base layer is Petal Pink cardstock, embossed with the Simple Stripes TIEF

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set, heat embossed in Gold and layered with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Ovals Framelits.

I used some Gold Metallic Thread as an accent

The inside sentiment is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set in Petal Pink and Gorgeous Grape inks

The base layer is the DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”

The third layer is Grapefruit Grove cardstock, cut at 3 ½” x 4 ¾”

The fourth layer is Whisper White cardstock, cut at 3” x 4 ¼”, stamped with one of the background stamps from Picture Perfect Birthday in Calypso Coral ink

These two cards are the same, except I used Merry Merlot and Basic Black as accent colors

The card base is 4 ¼” x 11”

The base layer is the DSP cut at 4” x 5 ¼”

I layered the 1 ¾” x 4” DSP on a piece of 2” x 4” Gold Foil

The balloons are made with the Balloon Banquet Punch, using the coordinating stamp from Balloon Celebration and heat emboss in either Black or White.

I stamped the “balloon string” in Memento Ink and then used a piece of Whisper White Sheer Ribbon to tie a bow

The inside sentiments from Picture Perfect Birthday and Balloon Celebration stamp set are in Merry Merlot, Memento, and Gray Granite inks

These two cards are the same, except the base color of Real Red or Pineapple Punch

The card base is 4 ¼” x 11”

The base layer of Whisper White is 4” x 5 ¼”, using the candle base stamps from Picture Perfect Birthday in Night of Navy, Real Red, and Pineapple Punch inks, and the candle flame is heat embossed in gold

The 1 ½” x 4” of DSP is adhered across the base layer

The sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday is stamped in Night of Navy ink and used the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies

The accents are the Gold Metallic Pearls and a gold candle from Candle Embellishments

The inside sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink with either Pineapple Punch or Real Red ink for the confetti stamp

The card base is Gorgeous Grape cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”

The base layer is Petal Pink cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and embossed with the Striped Scallops TIEF

I used the last two pieces of DSP and punched them with the Banner Triple Punch

The sentiment is from Picture Perfect Birthday on Whisper White cardstock in Petal Pink and Gorgeous Grape inks, punched out with the 1 ½” Circle Punch, and layered on Gold Foil punched out with the 1 ¾” Circle Punch

Gold Faceted Gems are used to accent the front

The inside sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Petal Pink inks
