Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is another fun and festive Christmas card using the Christmas to Remember and Christmas Season stamp set and the left-over strips of the Painted Christmas DSP from the previous two cards! If you remember, you should have two 2” x 12” and two ¾” x 10” strips of DSP, which I will show you an easy way to cut them down to make another six cards and use your Stamparatus with the Christmas Season stamp set to make your own background!
For the base layer, first cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼” and use your Stamparatus to stamp the leaf shown in Soft Sea Foam ink. Next, flip the plate over and position the other two leaf stamps as shown, use Garden Green ink for the left and Evening Evergreen for the right. Now you will flip the cardstock 180 degrees and stamp the same way again. To fill in the background some more, I stamped the berries in Real Red ink and the small dot stamp in Crumb Cake ink:
For the strips, I cut the ¾” x 10” into three ¾” x 3 ¾” (you will have a ¼” piece leftover, which I discarded) and then cut the 2” x 12” strip at 1 ¼” (along the 2” side). The 1 ¼” and ¾” strips are cut into three pieces each, along the 12” side, at 4”. The ¾” x 4” strips will be for the inside of the card and the 1 ¼” x 4” will be for the card front. I cut a piece of the Cork Specialty Paper 1” x 3 ½” (or cut a 3 ½” x 6” and cut into six 1” x 3 ½” strips). If you are like me and keep the ½” strips of Basic White (and Very Vanilla) cardstock when you cut down the cardstock, well, the sentiment from Christmas remember fits perfectly! I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink and just sniped it off. Finally, you will use the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon to make a small bow:
I used liquid glue to adhere the three strips as shown and mini dimensionals to adhere the sentiment on top:
I used liquid glue to adhere the layered strips in the middle of the stamped base layer and glue dots to adhere the organdy bow. This completed piece is adhered to a Real Red cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink, and adhere the ¾” x 4” strip of DSP along the bottom:

Don’t forget your envelopes! I used the two leaves that were stamped in Garden Green and Evening Evergreen, putting them on blocks, and the small dot stamp in Crumb Cake ink:
So now, you will have 18 cards from two sheets of DSP and 18 coordinating envelopes! You can easily substitute strips of DSP for embossed cardstock and/or specialty paper and only use a couple of stamps for a clean and simple card! Did you notice that I used absolutely no dies for this card?? That’s right, just stamps, cardstock, DSP, and a little ribbon to make this #simplestamping card!!
