Hello and welcome to today’s card, which features the new Amazing Life stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog! This stamp set is actually part of a bundle, which includes the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies!! What?? Rectangle dies?? They feature stitching on the inside and outside the frame, so you can use either size! I won’t be using these today, however, but will share with you a quick and easy card using the stamp set.
To start, use Bermuda Bay cardstock for the card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is Pool Party cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and is embossed with the Striped Scallops TIEF:
For the card front, you will use the Balloon Bouquet Punch on a piece of Champagne Foil Sheet, use Whisper White Baker’s Twine to tie around the end, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, you will stamp the background stamp from Artisan Textures stamp set in Pool Party ink, stamp the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink, and the cut out using the largest scalloped square from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies:
I first adhered the balloons directly to the card base and then adhered the sentiment with dimensionals. I felt this needed a little something else added, so I opted for the Glitter Enamel Dots in Coastal Cabana:
The inside sentiment is on a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Whisper White cardstock, stamped in Bermuda Bay ink, and I used a Blender Pen with Pool Party ink to color in the cake. The best part about this inside sentiment is that I was able to use my Stamparatus to position the stamps and stamp them all at the same time!
Wasn’t that quick and easy?? I chose to use the scalloped square and the Striped Scallops TIEF for this card because I thought the combination of the two tied well together. I also chose Bermuda Bay and Pool Party for the color combo because I haven’t created with these colors in so long and wanted some fun colors for this card! I hope you like it!!
