This anniversary card is my first project using items from the New Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs and I really like how versatile the Painted with Love Designer Series Paper is.
For this card, I started with Powder Pink cardstock cut at 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” and the piece of Painted with Love DSP is cut at 5 ¼” x 4”. I used two of the layering hearts from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits, the bigger hearts are in Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry and the smaller hearts are from the Painted Love DSP. The front sentiment is from the Happy Wishes stamp set, stamped in Melon Mambo on a 1” piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock and the end punched from the Banner Triple Punch. I placed some snail on the back of the sentiment and used that to secure the Gold Metallic Thread, placed a couple of the gold hearts from the Metallic Enamel Shapes, and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop on the front.
The inside sentiment is from the Happy Wishes stamp set, heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder and the “anniversary” is from the same stamp set, stamped in Melon Mambo. I wanted to give the “happy” a little more pop, so I used Lite Old Olive, Lite Calypso Coral, Dark Pink Pirouette, and Dark Rich Razzleberry for the flowers and leaves. The surrounding flowers are from the Beautiful Peacock stamp set, stamped in Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry.
