Hello and welcome to today’s card, featuring the Garden Impressions Suite, which is located on pages 128-130 in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. The new catalog includes the Color Revamp, that introduces brand new and returning colors, so today I am creating with Shaded Spruce, which is a beautiful color of green! I just love how the cardstock makes this Designer Series Paper pop!
The card base is Shaded Spruce cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is from the Garden Impressions 6” x 6” DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
The sentiment is from the Abstract Impression stamp set, stamped on Whisper White cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink, and cut out using the 2ndlargest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The flower thinlit is from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies, that I cut 1” squares in Powder Pink, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, and Calypso Coral cardstock and placed a strip of Adhesive Sheet across the back before cutting:
The ribbon is from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, which coordinates with this suite, in Shaded Spruce and Petal Pink. These are adhered to the back of the oval sentiment, the ends are trimmed, and I placed the cut out flowers at the top and bottom:
The base layer is adhered to the card base and the sentiment is adhered with dimensionals:
For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock, 4” x 5 ¼”, and I cut the left over piece of 2” x 5 ¼” in half for a 1” piece. This is then adhered to the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock and the flowers from the Abstract Impressions stamp set are stamped in So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Powder Pink, and Melon Mambo inks:
