May all your tomorrows…

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is featuring the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper! This paper is actually part of a suite, found on pages 106-107 in the Annual Catalog, and I did not purchase the coordinating stamp set and dies. Why not? Well, even though the stamp set and dies are beautiful, I really just wanted some pretty paper! One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up is all the product coordination and after I saw the YouTube video from Stampin’ Up about how they made this paper (you can see it here), I knew this was the perfect paper to order! Part of this beautiful design, is that two of the designs have trimmable elements, and that is what I am creating with this week!

To make this card, start with Smoky Slate cardstock for your card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

The base layer is Highland Heather cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and I used the Trio Punch to round the corners:

This sheet of DSP has 6 small, 3 large, and one long trimmable images, I used one of the large trimmable images. The corners are rounded with the Trio Punch, the edges are “roughed up” with the edge of my scissors, and then this sentiment from Colorful Seasons stamp set is heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder:

Next you will need a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, enough Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon to make a bow, and some of the Petal Pink and Rich Razzleberry pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls:

Place some Snail across the middle of the Highland Heather cardstock to adhere the Tulle Ribbon and then adhere the DSP to the cardstock.fullsizeoutput_24b3fullsizeoutput_24b6

This is then adhered to the card base with dimensionals, the velvet bow is adhered with glue dots. and then I used two each of the Petal Pink and Rich Razzleberry pearls for accents::

The inside sentiment is also from the Colorful Seasons stamp set, the branch is in Mossy Meadow ink, the flowers are in Petal Pink ink, the stamen and the sentiment are in Highland Heather ink:

Wasn’t that quick and easy?? I did take the whole sheet of DSP and cut each piece down, which was very easy to do! I love it when you have beautiful paper to creat with!
