Hello and welcome to my two day Paper Pumpkin special, featuring May 2018 Manly Moments! Now, we kind of knew that this was going to be a Father’s Day theme from the sneak peek Paper Pumpkin gave us in April for April and May’s kits, but I absolutely love this kit! Just to show you how excited I am, not only did I make the two cards from the kit right away, but I made FOUR alternatives using three different stamp sets!! But first, let’s explore what’s in this month’s kit!
Here is everything from inside the kit, which makes 10 cards, and I’m just loving the colors! Speaking of, notice that the Stampin’ Spot is in Mossy Meadow?? This retired In Color has returned as is now part of the Neutrals Collection:
Here are the stamps and the envelopes, the envelopes are in Sahara Sand and Mint Macaron, and can you believe how many stamps there are?? This is an awesome and versatile set:
There are 10 card bases, 5 in Soft Sea Foam and 5 trifolds:
On the right are laser-cut elements and on the left are die-cut stickers:
You also get three sheets of printed silver foil die cuts, Whisper White and Crumb Cake:
Don’t forget the instructions, dimensionals, and the Stampin’ Spot:
Here is the first card, which is the trifold card, it took only a few minutes to make! Check out the inside of the envelope, isn’t that so cool?:
Here is the start of the second card, this is using the die-cut stickers:
This is what is looks like after the die-cut stickers and the laser-cut element:
I chose to stamp this sentiment:
Here are the finished cards with the coordinating envelopes, so stinking cute!!:
Of course, you still need to stamp the inside sentiment:
I added some extra elements to the inside using the Nature’s Roots Framelits Dies in Sahara Sand, Mossy Meadow (or even Always Artichoke), and Mint Macaron cardstock:
