Hello and welcome to today’s card featuring the True Gentleman Suite! As this week comes to an end, so does the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog and the 2018 Occasions Catalog! While you may have until May 31stto purchase any of the retiring products, I will be sharing new creative ideas from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog starting next week! The card base is Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is Chocolate Chip cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼” and embossed with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. For this card, I am using the “debossed” side:
The next layer is from the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper, cut at 2” x 5 ¼”:
On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, the sentiment from the Truly Tailored stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink, punched out with the Tailored Tag Punch, and two more pieces of the DSP are punched out with this punch as well. I cut a piece of the Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon and tied a knot in the middle:
I cut the punched pieces of DSP in half and then used liquid glue to adhere to the back of the sentiment piece:
The 2” DSP is adhered to the base layer and then the ribbon is adhered across:
The front sentiment is adhered with dimensionals and I used two buttons from the True Gentleman Buttons, linen thread is tied in the middle, and adhered with glue dots. This base layer is then adhered to the card base:
The inside sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip and Night of Navy inks:
This is such a quick and easy card, great for any occasion and making multiples of!
Don’t forget, the Truly Tailored stamp set, Chocolate Chip cardstock and ink, and True Gentleman DSP are on the Retirement List! Fortunately, the True Gentleman buttons, Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon, and the Tailored Tag Punch will carry-over into the new 2018- 2019 Annual Catalog!
