Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a fun and easy card featuring the Art Gallery Bundle and the Fine Art Floral DSP! The Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog, I just love how Stampin’ Up made oil painting into a stunning DSP! While one side is a beautiful floral “painting”, the other side is a soft and subtle design. Since one side is very “busy” with the floral design, I will show you how I “secretly” use the opposite side to create a focal point with a coordinating stamped and die-cut flower!
For the base layer, I used this design from the Fine Art Floral DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”. Using the third largest Stitched So Sweetly Die, flip the DSP over and die-cut out of the middle of the DSP:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. Use the second largest Stitched So Sweetly Die to die-cut from Pretty Peacock cardstock (R), this will be layered under the above smaller die-cut DSP piece.
2. On Basic White cardstock, stamp the first step stamp for the large flower in Petal Pink ink, the second step in Terracotta Tile ink (R), die-cut out with the coordinating die, and place three of the 4mm Matte Black Dots in the middle of the flower.
3. On Basic White cardstock, stamp the stem and leaf stamp in Pretty Peacock ink (R) and die-cut out with the coordinating die.
4. Using the Whisper White twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack, use enough to fold in half and tie into a bow, snipping the ends.

I first adhered the DSP base layer to a Pool Party cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and adhered the layered die-cut cardstock/DSP piece over the negative opening of the DSP base layer, basically covering the “hole” left from the die-cut:

The die-cut stem is adhered to the DSP, the die-cut flower adhered with dimensionals, and the double bow adhered as shown with a glue dot:

For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink (R), and adhere a ¾” 4” strip of DSP along the bottom:

Quick and easy way to not only use both sides of the DSP, but to use up the whole sheet and make six cards for your stash! Since this stamp set has so many different sentiments, you can either leave the inside cardstock blank and stamp when you need, or you can stamp what you know you will use them for and have cards ready to go!
