Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a fun and bright card featuring the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set, Love You More Than Dies, and the Split Card Textures Dies! Now that Summer is in full swing, it’s the perfect time to gather with friends and family and spend some quality time with cocktails or mocktails! While I am (not so) patiently waiting for my order from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog and the SAB Catalog, I thought I would have a little fun and show you this easy card is to make! Summertime is all about fun, so I added the fun factor to this card with two mini wobbles! Adding wobbles to your card is an easy way to make your card interactive!!
For the card front, you will need:
1. Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and use the Split Card Texture Die to die-cut from the left side. I then free hand stamped the “cocktails” stamp in Orchid Oasis ink, starting at the bottom and working my way to the top. This will be your base layer.
2. Cut a 3” x 5 ¼” piece of this design Orchid Oasis DSP, which will be adhered behind the above die-cut side of the cardstock.
3. On Basic White cardstock, stamp the cocktail image stamp in Memento ink, the drink is stamped in Highland Heather and Orchid Oasis inks, the fruit is stamped in Parakeet Party ink, the umbrella is stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink, and these are die-cut out with the coordinating die. I used my Wink of Stella Pen to lightly go over the drink.
4. You will need two mini wobbles and if you do not have these, you can substitute for dimensionals.

I used liquid glue to adhere the DSP to the back of the die-cut cardstock base layer, adhered this to a 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” Orchid Oasis cardstock card base, and removed the adhesive backing from the mini wobbles to adhere to the die-cut cocktail drinks, which are adhered to the card front as shown:
For the inside, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, lined up the sentiments on one clear block to first stamp in Flirty Flamingo ink, removed the top and bottom sentiments, and stamped the “cocktails” again in Orchid Oasis ink, which I purposely stamped slightly off. The cocktail image stamp is stamped in the corner the same way as the ones on the card front:

For the coordinating Basic White Medium Envelope, I stamped the cocktail image stamp the same way as the inside and outside of the card, omitting the Wink of Stella:

How fun and easy was this card to make?? This card goes to show you how you can use new products from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog and pair them with a favorite carry-over stamp set and die bundle! I finally made myself sit down and figure what I wanted to order from the JD Mini Catalog for the holidays and the SAB Catalog, I could not resist the super cute hippo stamp set and coordinating dies! I can’t wait for those to arrive!! What are most excited about from the Mini and SAB Catalogs?
