Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a clean and simple card featuring the Lighthouse Point Bundle! Whether it’s stamping a lighthouse, die-cutting your stamped lighthouse, or using the dies to build your own die-cut lighthouse, I just love this stamp set and coordinating dies! For today’s card, I decided to have a little fun by creating a small scenery and die-cutting some of the stamped images. Depending on the color combination you use, you can create a bright and cheery or dark and stormy scenery with the landscape stamps, and I decided to create a dark and stormy scenery with the focal point being the lighthouse and the beacon. I was able to give this card some depth and dimension with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and mini dimensionals!
The base layer for the card front is a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock, which I used the second largest Layering Circle Die to die-cut as shown, and then embossed with the Painted Texture 3D EF:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:
1. Use the largest Layering Circle Die to die-cut out of Basic White cardstock, use a Blending Brush with Basic Gray ink to color half and a Blending Brush with Starry Sky ink to color the other half. I stamped the large sky-like stamp in Basic Gray ink and used the larger water-like stamp in Starry Sky ink.
2. On Basic White cardstock, stamp the lighthouse in Gray Granite ink, the accent stripes in Basic Gray ink, use a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the windows, and use the coordinating die to die-cut out.
3. On Basic White cardstock, use the beacon stamp to stamp in Daffodil Delight ink two times and use the coordinating die to die-cut out.
4. On Gray Granite cardstock, use the boulders stamp to stamp three times in Gray Granite ink and use the coordinating die to die-cut out.

To assemble the card front, I used liquid glue around the backside of the die-cut circle to adhere the larger stamped and inked die-cut circle, placed the die-cut lighthouse approximately where I wanted it to use as a guide to place the two beacon die-cuts and using mini dimensionals to adhere them in place, use mini dimensionals to adhere the die-cut lighthouse, and adhered one of the die-cut boulders directly to the embossed base layer, mini dimensionals to adhere the second die-cut boulders to the left of the lighthouse, and adhered the third die-cut boulders to the bottom of the lighthouse. This completed card is adhered to a Gray Granite cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”:
For the inside of the card, use a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock, I used my Stamparatus to first stamp the sentiment in Daffodil Delight ink, and then used a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker to color the words above and below “shines brighter” and stamped again. I stamped the lighthouse in the corner in Gray Granite and Basic Gray inks, coloring in the windows with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker:

For the coordinating Basic White Medium Envelope, stamp the lighthouse in Gray Granite and Basic Gray inks, color in the windows with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker, and use the large water-like stamp to stamp in Starry Sky ink:

What a great way to tie the card front with the inside sentiment! I did struggle a little bit with the two landscape stamps, but then I turned them upside down it gave them a different perspective! Aha! I do have a white gel pen, so I might experiment with this and see if that can create a more realistic look of waves crashing, keep your fingers crossed!!
