2021-2022 Annual Catalog Preorder!

Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is all about products from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog preorder! Can you believe in just three short weeks that the new catalog will launch?? Of course, the most exciting part (for me at least) is the new In Colors! As a demonstrator, we are able to preorder select products before the catalog goes live to everyone, so I thought I would share with you not only the new In Colors, but also a few of the products that I ordered!

The 2021-2023 In Colors-

Stamp pads, markers, cardstock, ink refills, and jewels! Seeing the new In Colors, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen, online is not the same as in person! I really do like all of these new colors, so it’ll be interesting to see which colors I gravitate to! I thought I would do a little comparison with stamped images and the markers and then with cardstock!

Polished Pink-coordinates with Melon Mambo and Magenta Madness, not as bright as Magenta Madness and not as dark as Melon Mambo.

Pale Papaya-this is paired with Mango Melody and Petal Pink to show that it is more of a light pinkish-orange.

Fresh Freesia-I included the retiring Purple Posy to show you how Fresh Freesia differs, I thought at first it was very similar to Purple Posy until I had the cardstock in front of me.

Evening Evergreen-this is such a rich and dark green when compared to Mossy Meadow and Garden Green.

Soft Succulent-coordinates with Mint Macaron and Just Jade, a nice middle shade. If you have any Tranquil Tide cardstock, that would also coordinate.

Stamps and Dies-

Basic Borders Dies-I could not wait to get my hands on these!! For me, these will be great to use when you are using different layers of cardstock/DSP and I love the stitching on them. (pg. 162)

Natural Textures Host Stamp Set-I thought these four designs are so neat and are a great alternative to embossing folders. I used my Stamparatus to stamp these on a piece of Basic White cardstock in Basic Gray ink. (pg. 171)

Inspired Thoughts Bundle-Sentiments! I’ve really been drawn to more sentiments, not the usual ones, and I really liked the coordinating dies as I feel I can really get some versatile use with them. (pg. 52)

Pattern Party 12” x 12” DSP-Designer Series Paper that you can earn?? That’s right!! This is a mega pack of 48 sheets of DSP, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs!! One side is color (Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Poppy Parade) and the other side is black and white! You can earn rewards either by hosting a qualifying party or placing an order yourself that is $150 or more!

When the online version of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog became available for demonstrators, not only did I make my list but I also sorted what products are carrying over and retiring. The one thing that shocked me is that there is not one suite that I just had to have! Which is ok, because I noticed that I was more drawn to sentiment stamp sets and pairing them with other DSP that I like! There are also a lot of other products and accessories that I’m excited about and cannot wait until May 4th! So, you will see a difference in my cards and blog posts as they will not center around a suite from the annual catalog, but will still show you how to be creative!!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
