Hello and welcome to today’s blog post, which is a fun and easy card featuring the Enjoy the Moment stamp set and True Love Designer Series Paper! I’m back at it again coloring the True Love DSP, but this time I used a Sponge Brayer! After deciding the stamp set to use with the DSP, I chose to use more earth tone colors since I was using the Poppy Seed Pod stamp for the card front and thought coloring the DSP would tie in better than leaving it black and white. I will also show you how to easily give the stamped image a little bit of depth with your Stampin’ Blends!
The base layer is this design from the True Love DSP, colored with Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Brayer:

For the card front, you will need:
1. Cut a piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock at 3 ½” x 4 ¾” and emboss with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.
2. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 3 ¼” x 4 ½”, stamp the sentiment and Poppy Seed Pod in Early Espresso ink, and color in the pods with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (details on coloring below). This will be layered on top of the embossed cardstock.
3. You will need enough of the Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim to wrap around the adhered layered above pieces into a knot.
4. You will need one each of the 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, not pictured.

After stamping the sentiment and Poppy Seed Pod stamp in Early Espresso ink, I first used the Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend along the shadow, or darker, areas, and then used the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend to finish coloring in. Pretty easy!
To assemble, adhere the two cardstock layers, tie the trim around into a knot, and place the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots as shown:

This is then adhered to the DSP base layer and then adhered to a Terracotta Tile cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

For the inside, cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink, the seeds in Crumb Cake ink, and adhere the ¾” x 4” piece of colored cardstock along the bottom:

A couple of alternatives, both I colored with Terracotta Tile ink instead of Crumb Cake ink, and one I used Basic White cardstock instead of Very Vanilla cardstock:
Such an easy way to use up a whole sheet of 12” x 12” DSP! This card could also be used as a “masculine” card since the colors are earth toned! If you have the Enjoy the Moment stamp set, or are considering it, and aren’t quite sure of seeds and pods, here you go:
