2020-2021 Annual Catalog product sneak peek!

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a quick and easy card featuring the 2020-2022 In Colors and some new products from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! This card was inspired by the annual catalog as I really wanted to show you ALL of the new In Colors and how well they all coordinate together, not just with products from the annual catalog! Normally when you would stamp “tone on tone”, you would use the same ink and cardstock color, however, since demonstrators were not able to order the new In Colors as part of our pre-order, I resorted to the all-time favorite of using a Versamark ink pad, which basically has a similar result, to stamp the image!

To start, I cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of cardstock in each of the 2020-2022 In Colors, used the five different leaf and flower stamps from Lovely You to stamp one of the images on each color of cardstock in Versamark ink, cut each of the cardstocks into ¾” strips, and punched each end with the curvy label punch from the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch:

For the rest of the card front, you will need:

1. Use the swirly circle die from Painted Labels Dies to cut a piece from Vellum cardstock.

2. Stamp the sentiment from A Grand Kid on Whisper White cardstock in Night of Navy ink and punch out with the 2” Circle Punch.

3. Use the Misty Moonlight/silver Baker’s Twine from Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack to tie into a small bow.

Cut a Thick Whisper White cardstock card base at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. I first lined up the cardstock strips on the card base to make sure it was pretty centered on the card front and used liquid glue to adhere each strip, starting from Misty Moonlight. To give this a different look, I started with the Misty Moonlight lower, alternated with Magenta Madness higher, and so on:

Adhere the punched-out sentiment on the vellum cardstock, use a drop of liquid glue on the baker’s twine to adhere to the vellum cardstock, and then use dimensionals to adhere the sentiment piece to the center:

For the inside, cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼” and a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 3 ¾” x 5”. Stamp the sentiment from A Grand Kid in Night of Navy ink and the leaf stamp from Lovely You in Night of Navy ink, stamping off first. Adhere the stamped sentiment cardstock to the Misty Moonlight cardstock and then adhere to the inside of the card:

So, what do you think of the new In Colors?? Now, with the way I stamped and cut the In Colors cardstock, you would be able to make five cards with the ¾’ strips and would have five ½” strips, which you could use as accent pieces on other cards. Another trick I found with this card, is that if you stamp off Night of Navy ink first, the color is pretty close to the Misty Moonlight cardstock! For this card I wanted to show you how fun the sentiment from A Grand Kid are, even if you are not a grandparent! **All new products from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog will be available for customers to purchase on June 3, 2020**

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
