A Special Celebration with Perennial Essence card!

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a beautiful card featuring the retiring Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper and Special Celebrations stamp set! The Special Celebrations stamp set is really great “all occasions” stamp set, which will be missed! So, I thought I would show you a quick and easy card to make with this stamp set when combined it with the beautiful Perennial Essence DSP!

The base layer is this design from the Perennial Essence DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

For the card front, you will need:

1. About a 14” piece of Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon.

2. Use the Leaf Punch to punch out four pieces from Vellum cardstock.

3. Stamp the sentiment from Special Celebrations in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the fifth smallest Layering Square Dies. Use the fourth largest scalloped Layering Square Dies to cut a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock, this will be layered under the sentiment.

4. You will also need four of the 4mm Melon Mambo rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (not pictured).

To assemble the sentiment piece, adhere the two layered squares together, place a small amount of snail in the opposite corners to adhere two of the vellum leaves, and place one 4mm Melon Mambo rhinestone in each corner:

To adhere the organdy ribbon, I placed some snail across the middle of the DSP and “snaked” the ribbon as shown:

The sentiment piece is adhered with dimensionals, which I put in the corner with the vellum leaves to keep them in place:

This completed piece is adhered to a Blackberry Bliss cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”:

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink, and adhere a ¾” x 4” strip of coordinating DSP along the bottom:

Quick and easy card made with beautiful DSP! The stamp set, DSP, leaf punch, and rhinestones are all on the retirement list and don’t forget, all products on the retirement list are only “while supplies last”!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
