Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a fun and different take on stamping tulips with the Timeless Tulips Bundle! When it comes to flowers, I usually use Google Images when I’m looking for inspiration, which did give my inspiration for today’s card! I didn’t want to just stamp a color WW or VV cardstock, so I thought I would try colored cardstock just to see if it would even work, and I really liked it! I first tried stamping Poppy Parade ink on Mango Melody cardstock and then stamped on Petal Pink and So Saffron cardstocks, which gave me the tulips for this card because I really liked how the Poppy Parade ink looked slightly different with each cardstock.
The base layer for this card is Crumb Cake cardstock, cut at 4” x 4 ¾”, and embossed with the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder:

For the card front, you will need:
1. Stamp the large tulip in Poppy Parade ink on Mango Melody, Petal Pink, and So Saffron cardstocks and punch out with the coordinating punch.
2. Use the “straight” stem to stamp two times on Soft Sea Foam cardstock in Mossy Meadow ink. Fussy cut both out and then trim on stem down and cut the other one so that you have three stems at different lengths.
3. Use the leaf stamp to stamp on Soft Sea Foam cardstock in Mossy Meadow ink two times, once in Poppy Parade ink on Mango Melody cardstock, and then punch out with the coordinating punch.
4. Cut a 6” piece of Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, color with the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, and then tie into a bow (use however much ribbon you need to tie into a bow):
5. Using the sentiment from the stamp set, use Petal Pink, So Saffron, and Mango Melody Stampin’ Write Markers only on the HAPPY, stamping on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and then cut out with the second smallest Layering Squares Die.

On the embossed base layer, I first adhered two of the stems, the Mango Melody and Petal Pink tulips, the Mango Melody petal, and one of the leaves behind the Petal Pink tulip:

I then adhered the last stem, So Saffron tulip, and the last leaf:

Trim off the excess stems, adhere the bow with glue dots, and the sentiment with mini dimensionals. This completed piece is then adhered to a Soft Sea Foam cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”:

For the inside sentiment, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ½”, stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink, stamp the top of the stem in Mossy Meadow ink, and then stamp the medium tulip in Poppy Parade ink:

So, what do you think of the tulips? Do you like them stamped on colored cardstock or do you prefer Whisper White or Very Vanilla? Since tulips come in a variety of colors, you could even do tone-on-tone stamping with colored cardstock!
