Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a super cute and fun birthday card featuring The Gang’s All Meer stamp set and Metallic Baker’s Twine from the 2020 Sale-A-Bration Catalog! You can earn each of these items from the SAB Catalog with a qualifying product purchase, but why not combine them to make a fun card?? These little guys are super cute and so easy to color with your Stampin’ Blends! Since this is a “group”, I thought the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays would work perfectly!
The base layer is Basic Black cardstock, cut at 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”, and this design from the Birthday Bonanza DSP, cut at 3” x 4”, is layered on top:
For the card front:
1. On a ½” strip of Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment in Memento ink and use the Banner Triple Punch to punch the end.
2. Use the Bermuda Bay metallic twine from the combo pack, measure three 16” pieces, and tie into a bow.
3. Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 2” x 3”, stamp the Meer cats in Early Espresso ink, color the ground with Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends and shade under the Meer cats with Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, color the sky with Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends, and color the Meer cats with Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, use the Dark Crumb Cake to create a “shadow” on the lines of each cat.
Adhere the three layers together:
This is adhered to a Bermuda Bay cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”, the sentiment is adhered with mini dimensionals, and adhere the bow with glue dots:
For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink, and adhere a 1” strip of coordinating DSP along the bottom:
Isn’t this a quick and fun card? You can easily substitute the inside sentiment with something other than a birthday sentiment. This would also make a great “from the group” birthday card for coworkers, a family member, etc. This is also another quick and easy card that you can make multiples of and add your sentiment later!
