Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is super cute and easy Christmas bridge fold card! This design uses the Wrapped in Plaid 6” x 6” DSP that you can easily make more than one card of and use up almost all of your paper, which includes decorating your envelope! If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’m on a mission to have very little, if any, products left over from the Holiday Catalog and I’m getting there!
Your card base is Cherry Cobbler cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and along the 8 ½” side, score at 2 1/8” from each end:

You will use this design from the Wrapped in Plaid DSP, first cutting ¾” off one side, turn 90 degrees, and cut at 4”. This will give you one piece at 3 4/” x 6”, one piece at 4” x 5 ¼”, and one piece at 2” x 5 ¼”. Take the 4” x 5 ¼” piece and cut in half along the 4” side (at 2”):

Additionally, for the card front you will need:
1. On Whisper White cardstock, stamp the tree image in Shaded Spruce ink and cut out with the coordinating die. Create the snow with the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and use one of each color in 4mm and 5mm Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels for “ornaments”. Use the Twinkle Builder Punch to punch out the largest star out of Gold Foil Sheets for the tree topper.
2. Enough Gold Shimmer Ribbon to tie around the whole card base and into a bow. This will secure the card front closing.
3. Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White cardstock and punch out with the Classic Label Punch.
4. Use the second largest Stitched Nested Label Die to cut out of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Adhere the sentiment at the bottom of the Cherry Cobbler cardstock piece and then adhere the tree. Flip this piece over and adhere dimensionals only to one side. Tip-if you look closely, you will see the star at the bottom, I did this to make sure the dimensionals were on the left side of the image:

Adhere the DSP to each side of the card front flaps and then line up the Cherry Cobbler piece so that each pointed end is lined up with the flap openings to adhere to the DSP:

I used a strip of Tear & Tape across the horizontal middle of the card base and then placed the Gold Shimmer Ribbon on top, this will secure the ribbon in place. Flip the card over and tie the ribbon into a bow and trimming any excess off of the ends:

The inside sentiment is Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, the sentiment is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink, and adhere the ¾” piece of DSP along the bottom, trimming off the excess:

Super cute and easy to make, right?? I made four cards just like this, I really liked the idea of the tying the ribbon into a bow, that way when the recipient opens the card, it’s like unwrapping a present! For the remaining 2” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP, I used the envelope die from Beautiful Layers, however, if you do not have this set of dies, you can easily round the corners and maybe trim the DSP down a little more to fit on the outside (or inside!) of your envelope.
