Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is another fun Halloween card featuring the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder with the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies! I wanted to create a “spider web” like feeling to the cardstock after I heat embossed the spider image from the Wonderfully Wicked stamp set with the Hammered Metal EF, which is pretty close!
The base layer is Basic Black cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”. I stamped the spider image in Versamark, heat embossed with Shimmer Black Embossing Powder, and embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder:
I used the letters from Hand-Lettered Prose to spell “beware!” cut out of Granny Apple Green cardstock and Silver Foil Sheets:
The silver foil letters are adhered behind the Granny Apple Green letters and adhered to the embossed base layer with the black mini dimensionals. This completed piece is adhered to a Gorgeous Grape cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ½”:
The inside sentiment is on Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”. The spider web is heat embossed in silver, the spider is heat embossed in shimmer black, and the sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink:
Super easy card to make, right?? Cutting out the letters were pretty quick, just having to cut out two of the e’s. I used snail on the back of the cardstock letters to adhere the foil sheet letters, which also sped up the process!
