Sending you well wishes

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a sweet card to send when someone you know needs a little pick-me-up! This card has lots of textures and layers, but is so very easy to make! If you haven’t checked out the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets and Rhinestones, you should! The colors for both of these are just stunning and coordinate beautifully!

To start, your base layer is Pretty Peacock cardstock cut at 4” x 5 ¼” and embossed with the Subtle 3D Emboss Folder:

I used this design from the 2019-2021 In Colors 6” x 6” DSP, first cut the bottom piece at ¾” x 6” and then cut at 2” so you will have one piece 4” x 5 ¼” and another piece at 2” x 5 ¼”. For this card you will need the ¾” x 6” and 2” x 5 ¼”:

You will layer the DSP on a piece of Pool Party cardstock, cut at 2 ¼” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the embossed cardstock base layer:

Cut another piece of Pool Party cardstock at 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” and a piece of Pretty Peacock foil sheet at 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”. Heat emboss the dandelion image on the foil sheet in White Embossing Powder, keeping the heat on low or being very careful not to heat too much as the foil will start to melt. On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the dandelion seeds in Pool Party ink, ink the sentiment first in Versamark ink and then Pretty Peacock ink, stamp on the cardstock, and heat emboss using Clear Embossing Powder, cutting out with the 5thfrom the larges scalloped Layering Circle Die:

The embossed foil sheet is layered on top of the Pool Party cardstock and adhered to the base layer. To adhere the sentiment, apply adhesive to the top half (to adhere to the foil) and use a couple of dimensionals on the bottom half to adhere to the embossed base layer:

This completed piece is adhered to a Gray Granite cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. I added a rhinestone in Pretty Peacock to the middle of each dandelion:

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, adhere the ¾” strip of DSP along the bottom, trimming off the excess, stamp the dandelion seeds in Pool Party ink, and the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Pretty Peacock ink:

Don’t you just love pairing Pool Party with Pretty Peacock? The layout of this card is very easy to replicate with any stamp set, DSP, and color combo!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
