Quick and easy with Itty Bitty Birthdays

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a quick and easy card to make with Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set! This fun and cute stamp set has 16 different sentiments, some can be used outside of a birthday card. I wanted to share with you a fun and easy card design featuring this stamp set and you can easily change the DSP to whatever kind you want to use!

I chose the Purple Posy gingham design from the 2019-2021 6” x 6” In Color DSP. I first cut a ¾” x 6” strip off one side, turned the paper, and then cut at 4”. This will give you three pieces, one at ¾” x 6”, one at 4” x 5 ¼”, and one at 2” x 5 ¼”, the 4” x 5 ¼” will be the base layer for this card:

You will cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock at 2” x 5 ¼” and then a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 1 7/8” x 5” to layer on top of the Purple Posy cardstock:

I chose 5 sentiments and used my Stamparatus to line them up on the Whisper White cardstock, stamping them in Versamark Ink and heat embossing in Silver Emboss Powder. This piece is then adhered to the Purple Posy cardstock layer:

I used some Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon to tie a bow around the DSP (or cut enough ribbon to adhere across the front, tie some ribbon into a bow separately, and then adhere the bow with a glue dot), adhere the DSP to a Smoky Slate cardstock card base, cut at 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”, and then adhere the sentiment piece with dimensionals:

The inside is on Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, the sentiment is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in silver, the ¾” strip of DSP is adhered across the bottom, trimming off the excess:

Quick and easy card, right?? If you don’t like to heat emboss, you can easily use a coordinating ink! This card is a great way to make a super cute card and use up your DSP!!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
