Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a fun and easy card made with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set and Garden Lane DSP! This is another great way to combine designer series paper with a simple stamp set to create an all occasions card. What I love about the Garden Lane DSP, is that even though it does coordinate with two different suites, it is very versatile and can coordinate with so many more stamp sets. For this card, I will show you have to incorporate both stamp and paper for the inside and outside, which is super easy!
The card base is Crumb Cake cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”. I stamped the dandelion puffs along the top and bottom of the card front in Whisper White Craft Ink and then set it with my heat tool. (Another option is you can heat emboss with White Embossing Powder):
For the card front, you will need this design from Garden Lane DSP, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and cut again at 1” along the 5 ¼” side (long). You will also need enough Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon to tie into a bow around the DSP, using the 2ndand 3rdlargest Stitched Nested Labels to cut out the Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White cardstock, and stamp the dandelion stamp in Versamark ink and then in Mint Macaron ink on the Whisper White cardstock label piece, heat embossing with Clear Emboss Powder:
You will layer and adhere the stitched label pieces together, adhere this complete piece to the DSP with dimensionals, and then tie your ribbon along the bottom of the DSP. Since my bows aren’t the greatest, I cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around the front, cut another piece long enough to tie into a bow, and adhere the bow with glue dots:
This completed piece is then adhered to the Crumb Cake card base, positioning in-between the stamped dandelion puffs:
For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, stamp the puffs along the top in Versamark and Mint Macaron inks, heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder, and adhere the 1” strip of DSP along the bottom:
Fun and easy card, right?? While it is so easy to make cards when you have a whole coordinating suite, challenge yourself to see what you can create outside the suite!
