Soft and subtle with Butterfly Gala and All My Love DSP

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a beautiful soft and subtle card made with the Butterfly Gala Bundle and the All My Love Designer Series Paper! I originally purchased the All My Love DSP for my Valentine’s cards and of course I have a lot of this beautiful DSP leftover, so I decided to combine one of the designs with the Butterfly Gala Bundle to show you a beautiful alternative!

I first started with a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock, embossed with the Tufted DTIEF and this design from the All My Love DSP, cut at 3 ½” x 4 ¾”:

Additionally, for the card front I heat embossed the sentiment from Butterfly Gala stamp set in white embossing powder on Soft Sea Foam cardstock, cutting out with the smallest Layering Oval Framelit, and then I used one of the Stitched Labels Framelit to cut out in Flirty Flamingo cardstock to layer the sentiment on. I heat embossed two small and one large butterfly on Vellum cardstock with white embossing powder and then used the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch to punch them out:

Adhere the DSP to the embossed cardstock base layer, adhere the layered sentiment piece, and then adhere the butterflies. TIP-I used a small piece of Foam Adhesive Strip to adhere the butterflies:

This piece is then adhered to a 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”, Flirty Flamingo cardstock card base and I added three Pearl Basic Jewels:

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4 “x 5 ¼”, stamp the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink, stamp the solid stamp for the butterfly wings and body in Soft Sea Foam ink and then stamp the wing outline in Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped the antennae in both inks, you can choose which one you like to use:

I just love the color combo of Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam together! This is a beautiful card that you can simple change the sentiment for the card occasion!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
