Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a soft and subtle card made with the Twinkle Twinkle Suite! Why not make a card to let someone know that you love them? Family, friend, birthday, or whatever reason, let them know you are thinking about them! I thought this would be a great card to create with the Twinkle Twinkle Suite.
The base layer is this design from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
For the front of the card, I first used a piece of Whisper White cardstock that I heat embossed part of the sentiment in Silver Emboss Powder and then did a watercolor wash in Soft Sea Foam ink. Before inking the stamp in Versamark Ink, I masked the rest of the sentiment, inked, and then removed the mask to stamp. I used my Aqua Painter with some Soft Sea Foam ink and just did a light wash over the embossed sentiment. I then cut out the sentiment with one of the Stitched Labels Framelits. You will also need the silver Twinkle Adhesive -Backed Sequins and some Gray Granite Textured Weave Ribbon:
I first adhered a piece of the ribbon around the middle of the DSP, adhered the sentiment with dimensionals, and then used 5 small and 4 large adhesive-backed sequins:
This is then adhered to a Gray Granite cardstock card base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4” x 5 ¼”, heat emboss the bottom of the stamp in Silver Emboss Powder (you will mask the top sentiment that you used for the front), do another watercolor wash with Soft Sea Foam ink, and then use 2 large and 1 small adhesive-backed sequin:
Quick and easy card that you can give to anyone for any reason! One of the fun things about doing a background watercolor wash is that you can create your own background! Light, dark, one color, or multiple colors, the creativity is all yours!
