Make a Valentine’s card with All My Love DSP cut outs

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which features All My Love Designer Series Paper and Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies! In case you didn’t know, a couple of the heart framelits coordinate perfectly for cutting out the flower hearts from one of the sheets of All My Love DSP. I thought this would be a great way to create a Valentine’s card with very little stamping. Also, some of the dies emboss stitched hearts, which is a great way to create a background!

For this card, the base layer is Lovely Lipstick cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and I used the 2ndsmallest stitched heart to emboss the paper:

For the front of the card, you will need two of the heart outline cut-outs, one of the Flirty Flamingo flower hearts, one of the Lovely Lipstick flower hearts, Flax Ribbon, and Heart Epoxy Droplets:

To assemble the front, use Tear & Tape to adhere the Flax Ribbon across the base layer between the stitched hearts, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the heart outline cut-outs around the stitched hearts, the two flower hearts are popped up with dimensionals (I used a small amount of adhesive at the top of the Flirty Flamingo heart to adhere to the Lovely Lipstick heart), and then I used one of each size of the Heart Epoxy Droplets in the two opposite corners:

This is then adhered to Basic Black cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11″, and scored at 5 ½”:

For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4” x 5 ¼”, stamped the sentiment from Forever Lovely in Lovely Lipstick ink, and then adhered two of the smaller hearts that I cut out from the DSP:

This really is a quick and easy card to make for Valentine’s Day! I just love how the framelits coordinate with the paper to cut out! I really am not one to fussy cut, so this makes it so much easier!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
