Clean and simple card

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a Clean and Simple card that is so easy to make multiples of! This is a great design to use when you need to make some cards but are limited on time. Now that the Fall weather is finally here on the East Coast, or at least here in Virginia, I thought this card would be perfect to make!

The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

The base layer is Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

For the card front, you will cut this design from the Wood Textures DSP into 3” x 3” (basically cutting in half, the DSP is 6” x 6”), cut a piece of Copper Foil Sheet 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”, use the detailed leaf die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlit Dies to cut out from the middle of the Copper Foil Sheet:

Adhere the DSP to the Foil Sheet and then adhere the leaf in the middle:

This is then adhered to the base layer with dimensionals and I used Copper Trim to tie around into a bow:

To complete the front, adhere the base layer to the card base with dimensionals:

For the inside of the card, use the coordinating leaf stamp from Seasonal Layers and heat emboss with Copper Embossing Powder:

This is a very quick and easy card, I made four using two sheets of Thick Whisper White and Whisper White cardstock and one sheet of DSP and Copper Foil! This is another great way to use up that 6” x 6” DSP!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
