Little Twinkle Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is an easy fun fold card featuring the Twinkle Twinkle Suite! What I love about this suite is that the stamp set is versatile (not just for making a baby card), the colors of the DSP are soft, and the adhesive backed sequins and coordinating punch add just the right amount of accents! The template for this card is very easy and can be used for any of your card making creations!

First, start with Gray Granite cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 2 ¾” and at 5 ½”:

The inside card base is Soft Sea Foam cardstock, cut at 3 ¾” x 7 ½”, and scored at 3 ¾”:

For the outside card base, I used the star design from the Twinkle Twinkle DSP, one piece cut at 4” x 5 ¼” and two pieces cut at 4” x 2 ½”:

For the inside card base, I cut one piece of Whisper White cardstock and one piece of the Twinkle Twinkle DSP at 3 ½” x 3 ½” each:

I stamped the outside sentiment on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, heat embossed with Silver Emboss Powder, and fussy cut out. The moon and stars are punched out of Silver Foil Paper with the Twinkle Builder Punch and the adhesive backed stars are from the Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins:

To put the card together, adhere the DSP to the outer card base and the DSP and cardstock to the inner card base:

Before you adhere the inner card base, position it where you want it to go, overlapping the front panel of the outer card base about half way. I used liquid glue on the back of the inner card base since this does not set right away and I can move the inner piece if needed:

I tied a piece of Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine in a bow around the front panel, adhered the embossed star and the three smaller stars with snail, the bigger star with a Mini Dimensional, and then positioned the moon so the tip is overlapping the inner card base a little and adhered with Mini Dimensionals. This will help keep the card closed:

The inside sentiment from Little Twinkle stamp set is stamped in Night of Navy ink and I used some of the adhesive backed stars for embellishment:

Isn’t this a fun and cute card?? You can easily change the DSP used if you need a more boy or girl themed card. This can also be changed into a child’s birthday card by using the “Love you more than all the stars” for the inside sentiment!

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
