Hello and welcome to today’s card, which is a fun and easy way to be creative by using two different designs from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper! One sheet of the Toil & Trouble DSP is of witch’s hats, which are pretty easy to fussy cut out, and the other sheet is of broomsticks, so I combined the two for this super cute card.
The card base is Early Espresso cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:
The base layer is Pumpkin Pie cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:
The next layer is the broomstick design from the Toil & Trouble DSP, cut at 3 ¾” x 5”:
I fussy cut four of the witch’s hats from the DSP and cut enough of the Braided Linen Trim to tie in a bow around the front of the card:
Adhere the DSP to the base layer cardstock, choose three of the hats to adhere with dimensionals, and tie the Braided Linen Trim in a bow towards the bottom:
Adhere this to the Early Espresso base layer:
The inside sentiment is on Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, the sentiment is made using the Labeler Alphabet stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink, and the fourth hat is adhered to the bottom left-hand corner:
Wasn’t that easy?? This is another great way to make your Designer Series Paper work for you! No matter if you are limited with your craft supply, you can easily substitute the Braided Linen Trim and the sentiment for what you have.
