More than all the stars

Hello and welcome to today’s card, which features the Little Twinkle Bundle! This bundle from the Annual Catalog has been on my shopping list, so when I made my pre-order for the 2018 Holiday Catalog and saw that the Twinkle Builder Punch coordinates with the Spooky Sweets Bundle, well I just had to get both! I just love the sentiments from the Little Twinkle stamp set and since Moon Baby was retired, this made it to my shopping list!! While this is obviously a great set for a baby card, you can actually use it for other occasions: child/grandchild birthday, spouse birthday, wedding, and anniversary. I didn’t order the coordinating Designer Series Paper because I wasn’t sure about it, but now I’ve taken some time to look and get some ideas, it will definitely be on my next order!

To create this card, first start with a piece of Night of Navy cardstock for the base, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and scored at 4 ¼”:

The next two layers are Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, and Night of Navy cardstock, cut at 3 ¾” x 5”:

For the Night of Navy top layer, I first stamped the single star and heart stamps in Craft Whisper White ink:

For the moon and stars, I used the Twinkle Builder Punch to cut out pieces from a scrap of Silver Foil:

The moon and three bigger stars are adhered with mini dimensionals and everything else I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen. For these small pieces I used the Take Your Pick tool and that was a life saver!!:

I added a little more sparkle with the Rhinestone Basic Jewells and then used some Silver Baker’s Twine to wrap around the bottom three times and tie into a bow:

I then adhered the Night of Navy cardstock to the Whisper White cardstock with dimensionals. This piece is then adhered to the card base with snail adhesive:

The inside sentiment and accent stamps are stamped in Night of Navy ink:

Wasn’t that quick and easy? This is a great example of how this could be a birthday card or even an anniversary card.

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
