Hello and welcome to today’s cards, which feature the Garden Impressions 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies! This is two cards made from one sheet of the DSP that is very quick and easy to make! This is another great way to have cards readily available and all you need to do is add words for the occasion!
The card bases are Mint Macaron cardstock, cut at 5 ½” x 8 ½”, and So Saffron cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”:
The base layers are Mango Melody, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, embossed with the Basket Weave DTIEF and Shaded Spruce cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, embossed with the Climbing Vine TIEF:
This DSP design was cut into 4 pieces, 2 pieces at 3” x 4 ½”, and 2 pieces at ¾” x 6”:
I used the smaller Detailed Dragon Thinlit to cut out one in Gold Glimmer and one in Silver Glimmer Papers:
A piece of the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is tied in a bow around the DSP and then adhered to the base layer. For the Shaded Spruce base, I used the debossed side of the paper:
This piece is then adhered to the card base, the dragonfly is adhered with Mini Dimensionals, and then I added either Rhinestone Basic Jewels or Share What You Love Artisan Pearls in So Saffron:
For the inside, I trimmed down the ¾” DSP to 5 ¼” and adhered to the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock. The dragonfly is then stamped in So Saffron and Mint Macaron inks and then brushed with Wink of Stella:
Seriously, how easy was that?? If you don’t have the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies, you can always use another detailed die in its place! It’s so fun to just create cards to have on hand!
