Congratulations!

Hello and welcome to today’s card, featuring the Garden Impressions Suite, which is located on pages 128-130 in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. When choosing paper for this card, I thought Mango Melody and this piece of DSP from the Garden Impressions 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper went together perfectly! Mango Melody is a brand new core color in the Brights Collections that has been introduced as part of the color revamp this year, what do you think of this new color??

The card base is Mango Melody cardstock, cut at 4 ¼” x 11”, and scored at 5 ½”:

The base layer is a piece of Garden Impressions DSP is cut at 4” x 5 ¼”:

Using the butterfly thinlit from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies, cut out once in So Saffron cardstock and once in Vellum cardstock:

These are adhered together at the body using Glue Dots and then place Rhinestone Basic Jewels on top of the butterfly body:

Use a piece of 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White around the DSP and tie in a bow:

The butterfly is adhered to the base layer with Mini Dimensionals, cut in half:

The front sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings, heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder on a piece of Whisper White cardstock, and then cut out with the Classic Label Punch. I used some adhesive on the back to secure some Gold Metallic Thread on the back and then Mini Dimensionals to adhere:

The inside sentiment is on Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4” x 5 ¼”, from the Itty Bitty Greeting stamp set in Mango Melody ink. The butterfly images are from the Abstract Impressions stamp set, stamped in So Saffron and Mango Melody inks. I adhered the leftover piece of ¾” x 4” DSP along the bottom:

You can easily make multiples of this card without the sentiments so you would have a card ready to go for any occasion! I just love the butterfly thinlit, what do you think of this card?

It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
