The color revamp, new ink pads, and the retirement list!

Hello and welcome to a special update for the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog! I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the color revamp (13 Colors!!??!!), the new ink pad case, and the retirement list, so let’s get started!!

First and foremost, the Retirement List! If you notice to your right side, the list for the Annual and Occasion Catalogs are in PDF format for your convenience. However, for the most UP TO DATE availability, click on the SHOP NOW! button up top, which will take you directly to my online store, click on the Shop Now again, and click on the Last Chance Products. This will give you what products are currently available, but don’t delay if there is something you really want!!

Every 3-5 years, Stampin’ Up! does a color “refresh”, which means just a change of a handful of colors, however, this year they did a “revamp” and brought in some fresh and exciting colors, some are returning favorite InColors and some are brand new! Now, there are no changes to the InColors every two years, but these changes effect the 4 core color groups. Whisper White, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black have been removed from the Neutrals and placed in their own group, Basics, which new colors have been added to the Neutrals.

Here’s the color breakdown:

As with all items in the retirement list, these are available while supplies last!

Now, let’s see those new InColors!!

I really love these bright new colors!! I can’t wait to start playing with them and get creative!!

So here is the list of the new colors:

The returning InColors are:

  • Mossy Meadow
  • Poppy Parade
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Mint Macaron
  • Blackberry Bliss
So here are ALL the core colors:
Stampin’ Up! is discontinuing the Archival Pads, Basic Gray and Basic Black are now Classic Pads. Stazon and the Stazon Cleaner are coming back and we still have Memento. While you are digesting all of this, I can say that Stampin’ Up! is also adding new colors to the Stampin’ Blends!! The blends are currently on hold, but everything will be available June 1, 2018! The new additions are: Call Me Clover, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Pineapple Punch, Poppy Parade, Soft Sea Foam, and Soft Suede. Aren’t you excited??
Change in the stamp pads:
This year Stampin’ Up has also redesigned their stamp pads and this has been a very thought out process, you spoke and they listened! The new cases are easier to open, have a tighter fit between the lid and the base, they are stackable, and have improved the labels and stickers: top label now has a cleaner, bolder design and a larger color swatch, making it easier to see the ink’s color, stickers include a new In Color icon, continued to provide color stickers that can be placed on the end of each case to easily identify the ink’s color at a glance, and ntroducing a new color sticker you can place on the inside of the case, so you can easily distinguish the ink’s color when the case is open.
There is also a change to the ink formula: reduce ink bubbles, helps you get a smooth coating of ink on the stamp, and helps lay down the ink better. You CAN use the old ink refills on the new ink pads! So, there is no need to go out and buy brand new everything, just get what you need.
Here are pictures of comparing the old to the new stamp pads, I was able to get Mint Macaron when I attended OnStage:

If you notice the notches on the bottom is what makes them stackable! This is going to be awesome, because how many times have you stacked the ink pads and then had them fall over?? Me too!!

I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
