Week of Waterfront

Hello and welcome to another week of crafting! This week I will be featuring the Waterfront stamp set which is in the 2018 Occasions Catalog on page 48. Whether you like the mountains, the beach, or just nature in general, your creations with this set can be endless.

For this card, the card base is in Dapper Denim card stock cut at 5 ½” X 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”, and the base layer is from the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper cut at 4 ½” x 4”, and the scenery is on Whisper White card stock cut at 4 ¼” x 2 ¾”.

I first started with the mountains stamped in Crumb Cake ink and then stamped the background mountains in Sahara Sand ink, the grass and trees are stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink, the water and the clouds are stamped in Marina Mist ink, stamping off first, and then used the speckled stamp in Dapper Denim ink.

To put the card together, first use Dapper Denim Baker’s Twine, wrapping it around the front of the card base three times, adhering the ends with Fast Fuse in the middle. The scenery on Whisper White card stock will be adhered to the Springtime Foils DSP and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the card base. There is enough room on the front to add a sentiment or you can leave blank and have this card on hand for any occasion.

I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Norfolk, Virginia and was first introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2004 when I attended my very first card class with my Mother-in-Law and I was immediately hooked! I first started out by making simple holiday cards and over the years as my stash has grown, so have my card and craft making skills. It has always warmed my heart when family and friends love my cards, but they actually keep them! In 2016 I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and figured I could just do it for a hobby, but now I am going to branch out for all to world to see. So grab your favorite beverage, sit in your favorite chair, and join me as I share my cards and crafts with you! Enjoy!
